Lufthansa Opens up New Winter Holiday Destinations

The collective airlines from the Lufthansa Group- Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Germanwings, Eurowings, Lufthansa and SWISS- will soon become an even more attractive option for the leisure and tourist passengers, as the group is expanding and adding more destinations to its schedule for the winter. The top-notch service, the quality and the reliability of the Lufthansa Group has always been the trusting factor for its passengers.

Starting from 25th October, 2015, the travelers will have a wide network of destinations to choose from, offered by the Lufthansa Group, operating over 20,380 flights per week. This winter season, the Lufthansa Group is planning to operate in 261 destinations across 101 countries, the previous record was 260 destinations over 100 countries. The expansion will be via its hubs in Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Vienna and Brussels, along with many point-to-point routes. This winter schedule of expansion in destinations is in partnership with 30 partner airlines and 18,000 flights, connecting its travelers with the whole global network.

Every year Lufthansa offer flights to new winter destinations . This time Lufthansa is going to expand its holiday offer even further starting at the end of October 2020 by offering four additional holiday destinations from Munich. The four new destinations for this year are:

  1. Thessaloniki’ (Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday)
  2. Tenerife (Saturday and Sunday)
  3. Fuerteventura (Saturday)
  4. Gran Canaria (Sunday)

The operation will start from the end of October.From the latest report it is noticed that it will serve the sunny islands in the Atlantic Ocean four times a week.To the destinations Tenerife, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, Lufthansa will be offering direct flights. So, it would become easier for the travelers to come and reach these wonderful holiday destinations.
