NEW YORK: JetBlue Airways’ corporate venture and JetBlue Technology Ventures has invested in an air travel gifting platform, named Skyhour. This is the next-generation gifting platform for air travel which has launched in order to revolutionize the way people gift and receive flight hours.
Skyhour will enable anyone to gift air travel for just $60 an hour. This will inspires endless travel possibilities to destinations all around the world.
This involves two investors i.e. JetBlue Airways and its corporate venture subsidiary, JetBlue Technology Ventures which are partners with early stage startups at the intersection of technology and travel.
As per the statement of Fernando Camara (Skyhour Co-Founder and CEO), “Skyhour is the gift that moves you. Skyhour is founded in the year 2016 and it offers a seamless and effective way to gift flights. One skyhour represents one hour in the sky which is worth $60 an hour. The recipients of Skyhour can easily book their flights on any of the 350 international and domestic airlines by using the app or through website.

Passengers can easily purchase Skyhours through the app or from their official website. Currently, the app is available for iOS devices only as the Android version is in development.
