Do You Know About The New Delta Feature That Is Totally Changing The Flight Check-In System?
When we talk about the check-in technology of the airlines, it is improving from time to time and now in 21st century, passengers get a number of options in check-in.
According to The Verge, Delta Air Lines has become the very first US based airline to let customers check-in automatically for their flights through a mobile app.
And now the question is how all this will happen! Well, if you have the Fly Delta app, then the airline will automatically send you your boarding pass 24 hours before your flight. Yes, you read it right. This new app is more convenient than the typical check-in process in which you need to check in online 24 hours before departure. This new thing will help you get your boarding pass without doing much clicking. While the iOS app has this capability, the Android app does not as of yet.
Verge also noticed that before this, JetBlue did a brief automatic check-in pilot program back in the year 2014. Along with that, Lufthansa (German Airline) has also introduced an automatic check-in program which sends the boarding passes to the required passengers through text or email. But this is the first service of its kind in the United States.
On the same, one of the Delta spokesperson said that as of now, the company is not ready to share this information. The airline officials will update the story soon.
Delta Air Lines always take necessary initiatives for the passengers. Recently, the airline announced that the customers can treat themselves with a complimentary glass of Prosecco in-flight. Plus, the airline has also become the very first United States Airline to offer free in-flight messaging facility to the passengers.
