IndiGo, the low-cost airline of India has just announced a new service which will help the passengers who are not sure about their travel plans. And this will also perfect for the changes in the last minute travel plans.
Being known as 6E – Upgrade, the service will allow the passengers to change the bookings as many times as they like. And there is also the option of doing so without a fee. Plus, the passengers can also book a seat of their choice, including extra legroom, window, aisle seats, and that also without any additional charge.
Now, the question arises, how one can avail all these facilities. Well, by paying Rs. 2,500 per seat passengers can easily apply for the 6E- Upgrade for international travel.
The airline stated that through this service, passengers can easily do changes in their bookings and that also multiple of times plus they can also do changes and cancellations without any fees or additional charges. But any difference in fare and GST will be applied.
IndiGo also said that the passengers who are being entitled to a free snack from the available choice on board which mainly comprises a food item and beverage.
As per the airline, passengers can easily book this service through the travel agents or through the official website. In the case of cancellation of a booking, the residual amount will be refunded to the passengers after deducting the Fee in accordance with the then current Conditions of Carriage.
In September, IndiGo’s parent InterGlobe Aviation has raised nearly Rs. 3,795 crore by selling shares to institutional investors. As a result in November 2015, InterGlobe Aviation got listed on the exchanges. And by the year 2017, promoters’ holding stood at 85.88 percent.
