American Airlines’ New Lounge For Elite Fliers At LAX

The major U.S. airline; American Airline has recently unveiled two ways to pamper its most elite fliers.

Last month, the world’s largest carrier has opened a new lounge at Los Angeles International Airport. This lounge will include all the luxuries of a buffet restaurant and bar. In addition to that, there will also a counter where fliers can make Bloody Mary drinks with crispy strips of bacon.

Talking about the lounges, AA has already had three Admirals Club lounges at LAX. It offers free snacks plus the self-serve bars are also there. These lounges are open for the AAdvantage frequent flier members who buy an annual pass or any passenger who can pay $59 for a daily pass.

For those who are flying on international flights or transcontinental flights to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, the Flagship Lounge in Terminal 4 is reserved for first or business class passengers.

Coming to facilities, the lounge offers free food from hot and cold buffets. There will be the availability of a station where a chef makes custom dishes and a self-service wine and champagne bar. Along with that, passengers can also enjoy shower and quiet room for naps.

American Airlines has also added a 59-seat restaurant called Flagship First Dining for the super-elite flier. This is reserved only for first-class passengers on certain flights. The menu will comprise stuff like New York strip steak, a burger made with Japanese Wagyu beef, tagliatelle pasta, and much more.

Suzanne Boda (American Airlines’ senior vice president for Los Angeles) stated that “We want to differentiate ourselves from other domestic carriers.”

Out of the four Flagship Lounges of American Airlines in the US, only three of them support the Flagship First Dining restaurant.
