The departure gates at New Delhi and Mumbai airport for the non-stop US flights will now have glass barricades as per the reports of The Times of India. This is done to ensure that passengers go straight to the aircraft.
When we talk about the non-stop flights that depart from India, United and Air India are the two airlines that stuck our mind.
Travelers flying to the US may need to answer some questions during boarding about their purpose of visit. Along with that, strict checking of passports and visas will take place at check-in counters too.
The international aviation agencies had planned to ban laptops in check-in baggage in India. But these can be carried as cabin luggage. These few changes are the part of various tests done by the International Civil Aviation Organization and Federal Aviation Administration.
