Emirates lounge opens at Boston Logan International

The Dubai Based Career Emirates just announced the grand opening of a dedicated lounge at the Boston Logan International Airport. This would be the 41st lounge being launched by the airline.

In April 2017, the lounge marked a soft opening and now has been opened and will render services to Emirates First Class and Business Class customers as well as Platinum and Gold members of Skywards under the airline’s frequent flyer programme.

The lounge is the part of the ongoing commitment to Boston as per which the Emirates Lounge at Boston Logan International Airport represents a $6.7 million investment in order to provide premium customers with the seamless and enjoyable journey from start to end.

Mohammed H Mattar (Emirates’ Divisional senior vice-president Airport Services) stated that “Emirates’ lounges are an integral part of Emirates’ product and service offerings for our premium and loyal customers.” He added, “Boston becomes our 41st dedicated lounge worldwide and we will continue to invest in upgrading this product to ensure our customers have an enjoyable journey from beginning to end.”

This would be the 4th airport lounge in the US by Emirates which contributes to serving passengers traveling through our US gateways

Emirates start its services to Boston in 2014 and it consistently generated demand during the past three years. Till now, it has transported more than 745,000 passengers from Dubai to Boston.

In the year 2015, Emirates started its second daily service with an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. It includes 8 private suites in First Class along with the 42 seats in Business Class and 304 seats in Economy class respectively. And it had a direct response to demand from Emirates’ customers traveling between Boston and Dubai as well as points beyond.

EMIRATES continues to take initiatives for the welfare of the passengers. Recently the airline has doubled the amount of free Wi-Fi usage for the passengers of economy class.

There is also a program of Emirates’ interline partnership with JetBlue Airways which enables special advantages to passengers who wish to travel beyond Boston to other destinations in North America. This codeshare agreement with JetBlue allows the customers to enjoy the convenience of a single combined ticket on selected routes of both the airlines.
