Air India has announced 50% Discount To students, Army Personnel & Senior Citizens On Domestic Routes
Air India has announced 50% discount for Students, senior citizens, and army personnel. This will take place with effect from 1st of September.
As per the new update of the airline on Twitter – “#AIUpdate: Effective #today avail 50% #discount on #Students along with #ArmedForces #SeniorCitizens.”
According to the officials of the government-owned airline, this offer depends on the availability of seats.
In addition to that, “Tickets can be booked at Air India booking offices, website www.airindia.in and Call center.” – stated by the airline.
CONDITIONS MANDATORY TO AVAIL THE OFFER:
- For Armed Forces: In such a case, the traveler needs to be an active military personnel of India Armed Forces and their family members.
- For Senior Citizen: When it comes to air travel of the senior citizens, there are already a number of concessions for such travelers. In this case, the senior citizen needs to be an Indian citizen who has attained or completed the age of 60 years on the date of commencement of journey.
- For Students: Any student traveling through the flight of Air India, needs to follow some conditions like he/she should be studying in India and of age 12 to 26 years plus he/she must be engaged in a full-time course for at least one academic year at educational establishment recognized or affiliated to any Central or State Educational Board or University.
According to the airline, travelers who want to avail the offer can enjoy the discount as it is available on Basic fare on Air India domestic sectors in Economy Class. Along with that, the tickets must be purchased at least seven days before the date of travel.
