Singapore Airlines Reveal Double BED In Business Class

After Qatar Airways introduced the double bed feature in its business class sections, Singapore Airlines is also introducing the feature of double bed for the passengers in their flights.

Whether you are traveling alone or with your partner, the airline has taken into account all the necessary stuff as per the requirements of the passengers.

The Singapore based carrier has undergone an $850 million facelift. You will get the best ever business class seat offering.

From the coming month, the new cabins will be fitted in the airline’s Airbus A38.

Coming to the number of seats, it will contain 471 seats in total. There will be six Singapore Airlines Suites, 44 premium economy seats, 78 business class seats, and 343 economy class seats.

The option of double beds is available for both the first class passengers as well as business class travelers.

For the solo traveler, the business class seat, which, measuring 25 inches can recline into a 78-inch full flat bed.

The extensive feature is the center divider which can fully lower to form a full flatbed.

Along with that, there is the availability of features like USB ports, reading lights, mood lights and an enlarged dining table which can be customized to different seating positions.

You can also get the glimpse of storage space below the seats which can accommodate both a full-sized cabin bag and a smaller handbag or laptop bag.

You can also avail the over-ear headsets and enjoy the 18inch high definition touch screen monitor to tune into the onboard entertainment system throughout the flight.

These new advanced features were by UK Company JPA Design and manufactured by JAMCO Corporation of Japan.

If you are traveling with your family, then these individual cabin spaces can split into a four person area.
