New Veer Savarkar Airport Terminal is Inaugurated by PM Modi with the cost of ₹710 Crore

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the New Veer Savarkar Airport Terminal in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, on Tuesday. However, the PM presided over the inauguration at Veer Savarkar International Airport. Besides that, the new integrated terminal facility will cost 710 crores to build. The new terminal has a total build up area of 40 thousand 8 hundred sqm and can handle around 50 lakh passengers per year.

The airport, worth Rs. 710 crore, is being dedicated to the country today, according to civil aviation minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, who spoke at the inauguration. The New Veer Savarkar Airport Terminal currently connects to Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Visakhapatnam. However, this will take longer in the future.
