United Airlines plans to start nonstop flights between Denver and London Heathrow in March 2018

DENVER: Passengers can enjoy the new service of nonstop flights between Denver and London Heathrow being introduced by the United Airlines. The service will start by next March as per the announcement of the airline on Wednesday.

The airline also added that if the government agrees with their new step then it will be the first airline to operate out nonstop flights from Denver to trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific.

United also offers nonstop flights to Tokyo. Besides that, the airline also announced the launch of an 18-hour flight between Los Angeles and Singapore which probably be the longest flight covering the route to or from the US.

The flights between Denver and London will begin in the month of March of next year and run seasonally through 26th of October. And the timings in regards to the same will include departure at Denver at around 5:35 p.m. with the arrival in London the next day at 9:40 a.m. in the morning.

Coming to the return flights, it will leave Heathrow at 11:40 a.m. and arrive back in Denver at 2:30 p.m.

United will use it’s Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner for the flight. It has 219 seats onboard and around more than 30 business class flat-bed seats.

Steve Jaquith (vice president of United’s Denver hub) has stated that “For the last 80 years, United has played an integral role in serving the Denver region and helping Denver International become an essential hub connecting business and leisure travelers to destinations around the globe.”

He added, “Our new service to London will provide more customers with convenient one-stop opportunities from markets that are served only through Denver, and we’re excited to bring this new service to the Mile High City.”

Currently, British Airways is the only other airline to offer nonstop service between Denver and London Heathrow. And Norwegian airline will also start the service of nonstop flights between Denver and London Gatwick in the month of September.
