Beer Which Is Brewed Specifically To Be Enjoyed at 35,000 Feet
When are flying high at 35,000 feet, then we all know that our taste buds get changed. Many airlines are trying hard to serve best to their passengers and they have come quite close to mastering it. Some airlines are even trying to cook in flight as well just to make sure they serve best to their passengers. But when it comes to beverages, you can’t do it in-flight.
So just to please our changing taste buds Cathay Pacific has collaborated with Hong Kong Beer Co. and brewed a special beer ‘Betsy’. It is a game changing beer which is specifically brewed to be enjoyed at height of 35,000 feet.
‘Betsy’ is named after the Hong Kong based airline’s first Douglas DC-3 aircraft. Currently, it is being served to business class and first class passengers on select routes. From 1st March to 30th April 2017 it will be offered in flights between Hong Kong and London, Gatwick and Manchester. Cathay Pacific is also planning to make it available in carrier’s lounges at London and Hong Kong for a limited period of time. It will also be served at few Swire-owned restaurants in Hong Kong.
This has been produced by using some locally-sourced ingredients from the UK and Hong Kong. Dragon fruit, honey, and Fuggle have been used in it. The experts have done extensive research and recommended this beer as the perfect beer to be enjoyed in-flight.
Well, it is good to see that an airline is making some extra efforts to serve its passengers best.
