Here’s When India will Resume International Flights!
After imposing a ban on international flights for the last two years, the government of India has now finally made the announcement about the resumption of international flights. On Tuesday, DGCA shared the news on social media that international flights will be resumed from March 27, 2022.
Currently, India is having a bubble agreement with around 40 countries including the USA, UK, Canada, UAE and some European countries. With the resumption of all international flights, this bubble agreement will be terminated.
Earlier there were reports that flights will be resumed in the middle of March and permission for flights resumption was sought from Health Ministry. But due to some reasons, the nod from the health ministry was delayed and now all international passenger flights are scheduled for resumption from 27th March.
The news of flight resumption has brought cheer to the airline industry and shares of many airlines have skyrocketed.
Ever since the COVID 19 pandemic out broke in the world, many countries have put restrictions on international flights and now as the Coronavirus cases are gradually decreasing, countries have started resuming international flights.
The flight resumption will surely give a boost to the tourism sector and will bring stability to the economy as well.
